Typhoon OlopaiOlomwaay! Welcome to my website. My name is Typhoon Olopai, I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Saipan. I'm proud to say that I am Refalawasch, a member of the Aliingeytau clan. From an early age I've been involved in music at some level. Starting as a guitar player in my youth, I later picked up ukulele and haven't put it down since. I taught myself how to play both instrument and also learned by watching my aunts and uncles jamming with my father. All those weekend BBQ's finally paid off!

I studied music at the University of Hawaii and since then I began adapting my techniques with styles ranging from classical, jazz, world and Latin. I also taught myself how to play the bass guitar which I later ended up playing in a Christian band in Hawaii called "New Seed".

I am currently residing in Hollywood, Florida. I started my own business called Pacific Rhythms performing solo on a ukulele all over South Florida. Now I'm a freelancer performing with several prominent Polynesian groups in South Florida as an ukulele player. I began teaching ukulele to several ukulele enthusiast and now I'm the founder and organizer of Florida Ukulele Network (F.U.N.) a non-profit organization.
